Joint SEI-CASE Committee on Building Information Modeling

Mission Statement:

The purpose of the new committee is to explore, document, and disseminate the benefits, risks, and practical and contractual implications of implementing building information modeling, as it affects the structural engineering profession. Its objective is to provide timely and concise information on building information modeling as it affects the structural engineering profession. This information will be provided as updates to the SEI newsletter, as articles in Structure Magazine, and through sessions at the Annual Structures Congress.
